Cosmodrome - Destiny 2 - Cosmodrome Defense Launches Facility WalkthroughThe Cosmodrome, also known as the Cosmodrome Defense Launches Facility, is a massive industrial facility designed to develop and launch various weapons and strategic weaponry that can be used for a variety of military missions and operations. The Cosmodrome is the fifth area in the game that you visit.Throughout your adventure on Earth, you will be able to access the Cosmodrome through different ways. If you are playing as John Carter, you will be able to access it by way of your first mission on Mars, where you will be given control of the First Strike Operational Wing. You will then travel to the Cosmodrome to find that its defenses have been compromised by Volgin. Once you enter the facility, you will be faced with a variety of tough, if not impossible, challenges and tasks.As part of the first mission, you will need to infiltrate the facility via the lifts which can be located within the center portion of th e facility. Once inside, you will need to fly a few helicopters around the facility and enter the control room where you will need to use a password to gain entry. After doing so, you will need to proceed through the labs where you will be given a password to bypass the security.However, once you successfully bypass the security, you will find yourself attacked by Volgin's men who have penetrated the facility with electronic devices. When fighting them, Volgin will not always attack directly, but instead will retreat and run through a series of rooms where he will eventually ambush you. It is possible to defeat all of the guards and Volgin himself, but the harder task is simply to escape the building without losing any more progress in the mission.After taking down the last few guards, you will face the enormous battle between you and Volgin where you need to use the military hardware which is now in the center to the best of your ability. Inorder to do this, you will need to use a series of rocket launchers, grenades, and melee weapons to battle the villain.When the battle has commenced, you will need to defeat Volgin first and take out his equipment as soon as possible before blasting him away with an aircraft as well as dealing with the other fighters. Once you have destroyed them all, you will then need to go through the nearby tunnels and steam tunnels, in order to reach the facility's reactor core. In order to reach this part of the Cosmodrome, you will need to use a ship that will escort you to the core.Once there, you will need to destroy the reactor before the final battle, during which you will need to be quick in your maneuvers to avoid being overwhelmed by Volgin's forces. After destroying the reactor, you will have the opportunity to move through the adjacent area to the tunnel where you will be required to fight more than one group of soldiers before leaving the facility, after which you will need to travel back to Earth.After you have completed the entire game with this area intact, you will be able to access the facility through the lifts and enter the control room where you will need to use a password to gain access. Once inside, you will need to face an even tougher fight in order to continue with the final stages of the mission.
